Plan The Operator Location
Confirm mounting clearance, drainage, access for maintenance, chain alignment, and secure placement according to the exact product manual.
Coordinate Electrical Work
The Eagle 1000 FR is specified as 115 VAC, 60 Hz, 5.7 A. A qualified electrician should assess supply, protection, routing, and applicable electrical rules; this is not a wiring tutorial.
Design Safety Before Activation
Identify entrapment zones, required protection devices, pedestrian routing, emergency access, and commissioning tests with the installer.
Document Handover
Keep the model-specific manual, installer records, release instructions, and maintenance schedule accessible to authorized users.
A Pre-Installation Walkthrough
Document where the operator would sit, how the chain would travel, where a technician can access the enclosure, and whether water accumulates nearby. Also record the full gate movement and the route pedestrians currently use. This makes the installer's site assessment more productive.
Commissioning Is Part Of Installation
The job is not finished when the gate first moves. Ask for documented checks of the gate's mechanical travel, approved safety devices, controls, emergency access, release procedure, and user instructions. Record the installed model and accessory list.
