Residents, visitors, delivery drivers, and emergency responders may need different access methods. Decide who can issue or revoke credentials, what happens when a remote is lost, and how access works during an outage. The control equipment must be compatible with the operator.
Detection And Protection Are Different
Vehicle loops, photo eyes, keypads, and intercoms perform different jobs. An input that requests the gate to open is not necessarily an entrapment-protection device. Ask a qualified installer to assess each component's purpose, placement, and approved connection.
